This class provides an introduction to newborn car seat safety, whether you’re preparing for an upcoming arrival, or baby is already here! The first part of class covers general safety information, how to safely harness baby, an installation overview, and Q&A time. Then, working with your car seat and baby (or a doll if baby has not arrived), we will use what you learned to practice and make specific adjustments. At the end of class we will check and make any corrections needed to the installation in your vehicle. Grandparents and other caregivers are welcome to enroll!
How to prepare: If you already have your car seat, install the base (or seat, if using a convertible) to the best of your ability prior to class, and bring the carrier portion and the manual into class.
