LeeAnn Fincham joined The Breastfeeding Den in 2019. Before becoming an IBCLC, LeeAnn was a Certified Lactation Counselor, received a certification in Advanced Lactation, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Maternal Child Health. She currently resides in Severna Park with her husband and two boys.
I am very excited to help and support other mothers so that they don’t have to struggle alone as I did in my own breastfeeding journey. We fought extremely hard to breastfeed our first born through what I am sure now was a tongue tie and formula supplementation with a supplemental feeder. We struggled but we were able to breastfeed for 14 months. With our second we endured a dairy intolerance for a long 18 months.
Although I do believe breastfeeding is best for both mom and baby, I want every mother to have the support and information she needs to properly feed and care for her baby.
